All-round galvanization for maximum corrosion protection
Wuppermann Austria GmbH (WA) in Judenburg is one of the largest production sites within the Wuppermann Group and one of the largest employers in the region. In addition to narrow galvanized slit strip, WA also produces hot-dip galvanized tubes and profiles with particularly high corrosion protection, especially for applications in the photovoltaic, construction and automotive industries. Wuppermann currently employs around 120 people at its Judenburg site.

Wuppermann Austria GmbH commissions new roll forming line in Judenburg
Steel processor Wuppermann Austria GmbH commissioned a new roll forming line at its Austrian site in Judenburg in March 2023. The total investment for the construction of the new plant amounts to 13 million euros. The specialist for galvanized products for the highest corrosion protection requirements is thus significantly expanding its manufacturing capabilities and production capacities.
The new roll forming line with automatic packaging line offers a wider range of dimensions and thus also a wider range of products: WA can now produce larger cross-sections and thus offer its customers a wide production range of welded profiles with complex geometries as well as open profiles with a significantly wider range of profile widths and heights.

State-awarded training company
On 13 November 2018, Wuppermann Austria GmbH was honoured as a state-awarded training company in accordance with § 30a BAG. This award is given to companies that have proven themselves through exceptional performance in the field of apprenticeship training and apprenticeship systems by breaking new ground in preparing young people for the challenges of the modern working world.
In future, they will be allowed to use the Federal Coat of Arms of the Republic of Austria with the addition "State-awarded training company" in their business dealings. The sign is a seal of quality for young people interested in an apprenticeship, their parents, but also customers.
As one of the largest employers in the Judenburg area, Wuppermann Austria GmbH offers several apprenticeships for process technicians, mechanical technicians and electrical technicians every year. In addition, the company is a partner in the initiative "Kraft. The Murtal" initiative, in which more than 110 leading companies and partner organisations in the Judenburg, Knittelfeld and Murau region jointly provide impetus to strengthen the location. This cooperation has also resulted in a film about the location.
