Meeting of the Dutch IRBC Metals Agreement at Wuppermann in Moerdijk

On 18 June 2024, the semi-annual general assembly of the Dutch IRBC Metals Agreement took place at Wuppermann in Moerdijk.

Under the International Responsible Business Conduct Agreement for the Metals Sector, stakeholders from the metals industry, non-governmental organizations, trade unions and the Dutch government joined forces in 2019 to promote international responsible business conduct and to address adverse human rights and environmental impacts in the metals sector.

The event, which brought together the members of the IRBC Agreement, focused on both the conclusion of the first five-year period and preparations for the extension of the Metals Agreement 2.0 for the next five years.
