Kai Marwig takes over as Managing Director at Wuppermann in the Netherlands

Kai Marwig has been the new Managing Director (Operations) at Wuppermann Staal Nederland B.V. (WSN) since 1 May 2026. He heads the Wuppermann Group’s Dutch production site, which galvanizes and processes wide strip, alongside Commercial Managing Director Terry Flokstra.

Kai Marwig most recently headed the Business Development & Communications department at Wuppermann AG in Leverkusen for over six years. The business administration graduate has been with the Wuppermann Group for more than eleven years in total. Prior to this, he worked in the Strategy department of Siemens AG, Mechanical Drive Business Unit. Kai Marwig completed his studies in Business Administration in Münster and Essen.

“We want to strategically and organisationally position WSN for a future with increasing demands for integrated, digitalised and performance-oriented processes at our production sites. Kai Marwig brings extensive experience in precisely these areas and already knows WSN very well,” explains Oliver Rechtsprecher, CEO of Wuppermann AG.
