New management at Wuppermann

Leverkusen, 05.05.2025 - On May 1, 2025, Jasmin Niehof will join the management of Wuppermann Stahl GmbH. Ms. Niehof will assume responsibility for flat steel sales for the Wuppermann Group when she joins the company. Carl Swoboda will continue to be responsible for hot-rolled strip and zinc purchasing until his planned retirement on October 31, 2025. From November 1, 2025, Ms. Niehof will also assume responsibility for purchasing at Wuppermann Stahl GmbH. Based in Leverkusen, Ms. Niehof will report directly to Oliver Rechtsprecher, Spokesman of the Executive Board of Wuppermann AG.

After studying industrial engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Ms. Niehof was employed for almost ten years in various positions at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, Duisburg. Most recently, she was Head of Sales Development, Operations and Special Business in the Sales Industry division and a member of the Board of Directors of thyssenkrupp Steel Heavy Plate Antwerp N.V., Antwerp, Belgium.

In addition to Ms. Niehof, Andreas Kersch will remain on the management board of Wuppermann Stahl GmbH as Head of Supply Chain Management.
