Wuppermann Group receives comprehensive ISO certifications for quality, environment, occupational safety and energy management
Leverkusen, December 2023 – The Wuppermann Group is pleased to announce the certification according to the internationally recognised standards ISO 9001, as recertification, and ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 as first-time recertification. The certification by TÜV Rheinland was achieved as part of a group certification.
Wuppermann honours employees celebrating anniversaries in Judenburg
Judenburg, September 2023 – In mid-September, Wuppermann thanked its employees at the Judenburg site for their many years of service to the company. A total of 14 employees were honoured by the managing directors Hubert Pletz and Carl Swoboda as well as by other superiors.
Wuppermann Metalltechnik wins INEO Award in the category for sustainability
Altmünster, Upper Austria / 16.11.2023 - Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH (WMT) has received the INEO Award for exemplary training company in the special category of sustainability. The award is presented by the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce (Wirtschaftskammer Oberösterreich / WKO) to companies with exemplary commitment to apprenticeship training. INEO stands for innovation, sustainability, commitment and orientation. The special award in the sustainability category also recognises outstanding achievements by the training company in employee retention, the promotion of traditions and career opportunities.
Blechexpo 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany
Leverkusen, 18.10.2023 - At Blechexpo 2023, which will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 7 to 10 November 2023, steel processor Wuppermann will present its new low-CO2 product WTopCarb (Hall 10, Stand 10619). The name WTopCarb stands for a galvanized hot-rolled strip with a physical reduction of the CO2 footprint to a value of less than one tonne of CO2 equivalent per tonne (1 t CO2-eq. / t) of galvanized hot-rolled strip.
Start of the new training year at Wuppermann in Judenburg
Judenburg, 12.09.2023 - On 1 September 2023, the new training year began at Wuppermann Austria GmbH (WA) in Judenburg. Four young men will learn the profession of mechanical engineering technician at Wuppermann in three and a half years. They will be supported and guided by apprentice trainer Werner Kollenz.
