Wuppermann celebrates official opening of new roll forming line
Judenburg, Austria, 3/5/2023 - On 25 April 2023, the Managing Director of Wuppermann Austria GmbH (WA) Hubert Pletz officially opened the new roll forming line, which was commissioned at the end of March, together with Johannes Nonn, Spokesman of the Board of Management of Wuppermann AG, the project manager Alexander Hartleb and other representatives from the Wuppermann Group.
Wuppermann Staal Nederland B.V. produces its own electricity thanks to solar energy
The Wuppermann Group commissioned a new photovoltaic system at its Dutch production site for flat steel in April 2023. The nominal output of the plant, which was installed on the hall roofs of Wuppermann Staal Nederland B.V. (WSN), is more than 1,700 kWp. The planned annual electricity generation of the solar collectors at the Dutch Wuppermann site covers more than 3% of the company's own total energy consumption. The investment volume was 1.4 million euros.
New bundling line and new infeed increase output and improve occupational safety at Wuppermann in Poland
Wuppermann has installed a new bundling line at the Polish tube production site at the end of 2022 with an investment of 770,000 euros. The new plant has been producing with increased efficiency since the beginning of the year. Thanks to automatic packing, the production speed - depending on size and cross-section - could be increased by 5 to 10 %. In addition, the plant can now be operated with only one employee, who ensures the proper operation of the machine. Previously, the tubes were packed manually by two employees. This work was, on the one hand, physically very strenuous and, on the other hand, posed a great risk of accidents. The personnel resources that were freed up are now used in the area of prefabrication.
Annual report for the year 2022 is available
The Wuppermann Group publishes an annual report every year in which it informs about the completed financial year. Wuppermann Austria GmbH commissions new roll forming line in Judenburg
Judenburg, Austria, 23.03.2023 - Steel processor Wuppermann Austria GmbH (WA) commissioned a new roll forming line at its Austrian site in Judenburg in March 2023. The total investment for the construction of the new plant amounts to 13 million euros. The specialist for galvanized products for the highest corrosion protection requirements is thus significantly expanding its manufacturing capabilities and production capacities.
