Tubes and bent parts for the energy turnaround
Even with pipes, you can make a contribution to the traffic turnaround and sustainability. Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH (WMT) produces cabin tubes for electric vehicles from MUP technologies GmbH (MUP). As a tube specialist with its own toolmaking department to the most modern standards and employees with many years of experience, the Austrian Wuppermann site in Altmünster offers the greatest possible variety in forming and bending technology. This means that WMT not only supplies tube bending parts at the customer's request, but also finished component parts that are already bent in the desired shape, contain laser cutting as well as threaded holes. As a start-up in Austria, MUP developed the first fully electric commercial vehicles and equipment carriers for municipal services and urban use with the WMT products. Emission-free, manoeuvrable and almost noiseless, the vehicles are particularly suitable for modern municipalities and there for use in environmental zones and on pavements. In addition, the flexibility of the carrier vehicle allows many variants to be built.
"The topic of sustainability and the reduction of CO2 emissions receives the greatest possible attention at Wuppermann. We are all the more pleased that our products are now part of an innovative and green success story," explains Georg Wildauer, WMT Managing Director.
Hans Andreas Höllwart of MUP technologies GmbH adds: "As a young company that wants to keep CO2 emissions as low as possible, even in production, we prefer to work with partners who do the same. In addition, as a start-up, we are particularly dependent on the flexibility of our suppliers, apart from product quality. All of this was 100 per cent right in the cooperation with Wuppermann".
