Wuppermann certified according to IATF 16949
Leverkusen, 07.09.2021 - Wuppermann successfully passed the IATF (International Automotive Task Force) 16949 audit in June after completing the Stage 2 certification audit. The plant in Moerdijk, the Netherlands, Wuppermann Staal Nederland B.V. (WSN) and the sales company Wuppermann Stahl GmbH (WS) in Leverkusen have now received the official IATF certificates.
The standard according to IATF 16949 includes all published quality standards of the automotive industry and covers the entire value chain of this industry. The certificate is a formal commitment to excellence, cost efficiency and delivery reliability. It proves that Wuppermann meets the requirements for quality management systems and continuous improvement processes. The focus is on risk management and reductions in variability and inefficiency. It applies to both manufacturers and suppliers to the automotive industry.
"The IATF certificate not only qualifies Wuppermann as a supplier to the automotive industry, but also demonstrates a strong commitment to product quality and quality management to our other customers," explains Karsten Pronk, Managing Director at WSN.
