Wuppermann expands production hall for logistics in Altmünster
Altmünster, 14.02.2023 - Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH (WMT), a premium manufacturer of tubes, tube and sheet metal components in Altmünster, has expanded the plant with a new hall for the logistics area of sheet metal production. The new hall was put into operation at the beginning of 2023. In order to be able to optimally load and transport the increased shipments, the new hall section was planned with its own truck access to the main road.
By designing the new hall as a separate fire section, the packaging goods required for production can be stored safely - while minimising the risk of fire.
With the new hall, WMT is taking into account the dynamic development of the plant in Altmünster and creating the spatial prerequisites for further growth in the sheet metal processing division. Despite the difficult accompanying circumstances in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine, the energy crisis and inflation, the production company was able to close the 2022 business year with a good result. Demand is particularly high from customers in the alternative energy generation, service machines and device industries, as well as from manufacturers of components for fully automated warehouse logistics. "It is precisely in these sectors that WMT's strengths as a producer with a very high processing quality up to the final assembly of the end device with a perfect design surface come into their own," explains Georg Wildauer, Managing Director of WMT.
"Our goal is to continue to grow here at the Altmünster site in the coming years. In the course of building the new truck exit, we therefore also created additional employee parking spaces. As a medium-sized production company, we offer our employees good prospects, career opportunities and new professional challenges in a social working environment with stability and family cohesion," adds Wildauer.
