Wuppermann Group receives comprehensive ISO certifications for quality, environment, occupational safety and energy management
Leverkusen, December 2023 – The Wuppermann Group is pleased to announce the certification according to the internationally recognised standards ISO 9001, as recertification, and ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 as first-time recertification. The certification by TÜV Rheinland was achieved as part of a group certification. This means that following audits at WAG, WS and WH, certification was issued for all of the Group’s operating companies. However, the companies that have not yet been audited must also pass the external audits in the next two years. WA and WMT will be audited in autumn 2024, WSN and WPL in autumn 2025. Passing the audit is a prerequisite for retaining the certificate.
The ISO 9001 certification confirms the consistent focus on internationally recognised quality standards in products and processes. By fulfilling the ISO 14001 standard, the company emphasises its commitment to a responsible approach to environmental aspects and sustainability in its business processes. In addition, the Wuppermann Group has achieved ISO 45001 certification, which confirms its efforts and commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. The ISO 50001 certification, on the other hand, recognises the company’s commitment to efficient energy management and reducing its environmental footprint.
The certificates can be accessed via the website https://www.wuppermann.com/downloads/#idCertificate.
“By receiving these ISO certifications, we are reaffirming to our customers and partners our commitment to the highest quality standards, environmental protection, the health and safety of our employees and the efficient use of energy sources,” said Michael Gotolle, Head of Quality Management in Business Unit Flat Steel and project manager for the ISO group certification. “However, this is only the first step; the work is only just beginning at the sites still to be audited – to ensure the same standard of processes here too.”
