At Wuppermann a close-knit network of four sales companies ensures that the customer receives the right products, in the required quality and amount, and at the agreed time. Providing "one face to the customer", the Leverkusen-based company Wuppermann Stahl GmbH has been acting as central sales company for the Flat Products Business Unit since 2001. It has representatives in various European countries and is primarily responsible for the sales markets of Germany and Austria as well as the Benelux countries, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. At the same time, the company is also responsible for central marketing, procurement of primary material, quality development, and production planning at the sister companies Wuppermann Austria, Wuppermann Hungary, and Wuppermann Staal Nederland.
This central sales unit is also supported by sales companies, based in France, Scandinavia, Romania, and the USA.
The Paris-based sales company Wuppermann France S.A.S. was founded at the beginning of 2011. It is responsible for selling flat products and tubes from the Wuppermann Group to the French market.
The Swedish company Wuppermann Tube & Steel AB markets both flat products and tubes to customers in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and the Baltic countries. In order to boost flexibility, the tubes business has had its own warehouse capacity in Sweden since May 2011. An initial contract to this effect was signed with the logistics company DHL for the rental of warehouse space in Halmstad.
The Romanian company Wuppermann Otel Romania S.R.L. supports Wuppermann Stahl GmbH in the sales and marketing of both flat products and tubes in the highly attractive Eastern European market. It is primarily responsible for customers in Romania, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.
In total, the sales companies have around 60 employees.
