Judenburg / Leoben (Austria), 15 May 2017 – Wuppermann Engineering GmbH looks back on a successful participation as exhibitor and sponsor of the 24th International Students' Day of Metallurgy (ISDM) at Montanuniversity of Leoben (Austria, 11 to 13 May 2017). In this context, Wuppermann has presented itself students of metallurgy and materials sciences as a company and as a potential employer. In addition, Wuppermann offers students the opportunity to write their bachelor, master or doctoral theses with a high degree of practical relevance. "To find suitable employees is also for Wuppermann increasingly difficult. This is why these student congresses offer an ideal platform to get in touch with potential employees of tomorrow and to show them entry options in our company," says Dr.-Ing. Rolf Brisberger, Head of Research and Development, Wuppermann Engineering GmbH. "Two Austrian students are even interested in an internship at our Dutch plant in Moerdijk."
The ISDM started in 1993. Its focus is on exchange of knowledge between international students of relevant disciplines. In the meantime, more than 200 students meat annually to network and to get in contact with companies of the steel industry. Besides several presentations various excursions offer exciting insights into the local production facilities of the steel industry.
