Wuppermann AG Welcomes Its New Board Member: Johannes Nonn to Oversee Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management

Leverkusen, 5 September 2018 – As has been announced by the Wuppermann Group, Johannes Nonn will join the board of management of Wuppermann AG effective 1st October 2018. Nonn will take over responsibility in the areas of Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. 

With a diploma in Industrial Engineering, Nonn (53) has many years of experience in the steel industry – including ten years at Klöckner & Co SE, headquartered in Duisburg, Germany, and eleven years with the Salzgitter Group. Most recently, Nonn was responsible for the entire steel business of Salzgitter AG. In addition, he served as a board member and CEO of Schütz GmbH & Co KGaA in Selters, Germany, and Schmolz & Bickenbach SE in Switzerland.

Effective October 1st, 2018, the board of management of Wuppermann AG will consist of four members: Dr C. L. Theodor Wuppermann, spokesman of the board, will continue to take responsibility for the areas of Human Resources and Social Services, Public Relations and Business Development. Dr– Ing. C. Peter Jongenburger is responsible for production at the five Flat & Tube production sites as well as being responsible for Research & Development. Dr Arndt Lassmann, Chief Financial Officer, heads Controlling, Finance and Accounting at Wuppermann, as well as the areas of IT and Legal Affairs. Johannes Nonn will take over responsibility in the areas of Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
