Celebrating Successes Together: Wuppermann Austria Honours Long-Serving Employees and Retirees
On 27 August 2026, the managing directors of Wuppermann Austria GmbH (WA) honoured employees celebrating service anniversaries, retirees and apprentices. A total of 18 Wuppermann employees in Judenburg had reason to celebrate. The anniversary celebration took place once again at the Bräuer/Eibensteiner restaurant in Weißkirchen.
Change in the Board of Directors at steel processor Wuppermann
The Wuppermann Group announces a change in its management: Ulrike Claus will join the Executive Board of Wuppermann AG on 1 September 2026. Dr Arndt Laßmann will leave the Group on 31 July 2026 at his own request and retire.
Kai Marwig takes over as Managing Director at Wuppermann in the Netherlands
Kai Marwig has been the new Managing Director (Operations) at Wuppermann Staal Nederland B.V. (WSN) since 1 May 2026. He heads the Wuppermann Group’s Dutch production site, which galvanizes and processes wide strip, alongside Commercial Managing Director Terry Flokstra.
Grand opening of Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH’s new tube plant in Altmünster
Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH (WMT) has officially opened its new tube plant at the Altmünster site with a ceremonial event. More than 100 guests – including business partners and employees, as well as representatives from politics and industry – attended the event on 24 April 2026 and were given an exclusive insight into one of Europe’s most modern tube plants. A family day for all the plant’s employees and their families on Saturday, 25 April 2026, rounded off the celebrations.
Tube 2026: Wuppermann expands production capacity for tubes and profiles
From 13 to 17 April 2026, the Wuppermann Group will be presenting its expanded product portfolio of tubes, profiles and tube components at the world’s leading trade fair, Tube, in Düsseldorf (Hall 3, Stand D38).
